Chief Data Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chief Data Architect to lead the technical aspects of implementing data pipeline and migration requirements, ensuring that our platform is being used to its fullest potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and building applications around business stakeholder needs, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, and owning automated end-to-end data engineering solutions.

  • Implementing data pipelines to automate ingestion, transformation, and augmentation of structured, unstructured, real-time data.
  • Providing best practices for pipeline operations, including identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Troubleshooting and remediating data quality issues raised by pipeline alerts or downstream consumers, while implementing data governance best practices.
  • Collaborating with internal product/technical teams to ensure seamless integration of technology infrastructure, and migrating current data applications & pipelines to Cloud (AWS) leveraging PaaS technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

7 to 12+ years of experience in SQL database design, data architecture, ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Mart, Data Lake, Big Data, Cloud (AWS), and Data Governance domains.
