  • Job Summary: ">To provide expert-level support to our clients, ensuring they receive the best possible service and solutions.
  • Responsibilities:">Ownership of the toughest tickets and acting as the final escalation point for complex incidents, including performance degradation, data corruption investigations, large-scale failovers, advanced replication scenarios, and more.">
  • Design & Automation:">Leading deployments of PostgreSQL in Kubernetes (k8s) with Operators, crafting Helm charts, CRDs, and automation through Terraform or Ansible.">
  • Tune & Optimize:">Profiling slow queries, balancing workloads, and architecting capacity planning.">
  • High-Availability Guru:">Building and operating resilient clusters with Patroni, repmgr, streaming replication, synchronous replication, and DR strategies (warm standbys, logical replication, BDR).">
  • Monitoring & Observability:">Architecting end-to-end pipelines in Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, VictoriaMetrics, and integrating with ELK/EFK stacks for logs and traces.">
  • Secure & Compliant:">Implementing encryption at rest (TDE, LUKS), TLS in transit, role-based access control, and audit logging to meet GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 requirements.">
  • Mentor & Evangelize:">Coaching junior engineers in best practices—schema design, indexing strategies (BRIN, GIN, GiST), partitioning, and PL/pgSQL development patterns.">
  • Continuous Improvement:">Contributing to internal knowledge bases, running “lunch & learn” sessions, authoring runbooks, and refining our support playbooks.">
