Internal Control Specialist

We seek a seasoned professional to spearhead internal controls, leveraging expertise in process audits and risk management.

  • Conduct thorough on-site reviews of internal control processes and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Pursue initiatives to streamline processes, enhance automation, and bolster internal controls while reducing inefficiencies.
  • Evaluate risks across all functional areas and develop comprehensive risk management strategies.
  • Liaise with teams to complete statutory and corporate reporting requirements, such as quarterly attestations and semi-annual balance sheet reviews.
  • Support location management teams during operational and financial audits by preparing responses to deficiencies.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze accounting documents for compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and company policy.
  • Review customer and supplier reserves, accruals, tooling templates, and receivables.
Requirements:
  • A Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in internal audit or accounting roles, including at least 4 years in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience working in manufacturing environments with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to perform independent process audits and month-end reviews.
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling clear verbal and written communication with team members and stakeholders.
