Job Overview

A high-impact migration project is underway to modernize our legacy platform, and we're seeking a senior full stack engineer with frontend focus to join the team.

  • Design and implement highly available, resilient, and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.
  • Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Upgrade legacy Java applications to Springboot applications, guaranteeing high-quality and secure code.
  • Test, document, and quality-proof work to ensure software meets business and operational needs.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes and reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions.
  • Support production deployments, operations, and maintenance activities, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Monitor metrics and identify opportunities to improve logging, reporting, and alerting.
  • Adhere to agile principles and participate in Scrum ceremonies, fostering collaboration and open communication.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks, including Spring/Springboot.
  • Experience with Javascript and related frameworks, as well as old frameworks like Backbone.js/Marionette.js and JQuery.
  • CI/CD practices, build and deployment technologies (e.g., Maven, Jenkins, Docker), and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience working in production with AWS Cloud infrastructure (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Search).
  • An understanding of security concepts and vulnerability management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
