Dynamic Surgeon Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the role of Surgery & Emergency Department assistant. This position requires 1-6 years of experience in a clinical setting, providing essential support in surgical and emergency care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff in various tasks
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols
  • Document patient procedures accurately and participate in patient education and discharge planning
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant field
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient needs and safety
  • Knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques, as well as familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
