**Job Opportunity: Statutory Audit Professional**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Semi qualified CA to join our team of professionals in Statutory Audit during Articleship. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of statutory audit procedures and standards, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive audit planning documentation addressing scope, objectives, budgeted hours, resource plan, and reporting date
  • Successfully completing assigned audits, addressing all audit objectives, conducting client and status meetings as required, controlling, monitoring, and reporting on audit progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring work papers provide adequate support for conclusions while complying with internal standards for documentation
  • To monitor the assignment for improving efficiency, manage audit in relation to time and resource budget
  • Actively verifying that all findings and issues are documented and performing closedown procedures
  • Gathering and compiling information and data to support decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills, as well as ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Providing recommendations for strengthening controls and identifying areas for process improvement
  • Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change as well as working independently
  • A solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act is essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think conceptually, visualize different scenarios, and decide based on analysis and logical reasoning

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Statutory Audit during Articleship
  • Proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think conceptually, visualize different scenarios, and decide based on analysis and logical reasoning
  • Solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act
