Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services at the airport in Mangalore, Karnataka & Guwahati, Assam.

  • The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience in the airports industry with a strong understanding of fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Crash Fire Tender (CFT) team, ensuring round-the-clock readiness for emergency response
  • Develop, implement, and review ARFF operational procedures and protocols in compliance with local and international aviation safety standards
  • Conduct regular training and drills for the CFT team to maintain peak performance and readiness
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid
  • Oversee the maintenance and readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems
  • Prepare and analyze incident reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to ARFF services
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance and leadership during simulated emergencies
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold the highest standards of fire safety and emergency preparedness
  • Provide leadership and support during actual emergency incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response to protect lives and property
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or related field
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF)
Benefits:

Experience:
