IT Audit Strategy Specialist

The Senior Manager role is a high-profile position that oversees internal audits across various domains, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This involves proactively addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions to strengthen internal controls within the organization.

This individual will drive the IT audit strategy across entities, ensuring alignment with organizational risks and regulatory expectations. The role plays a critical part in enhancing IT governance, providing independent assurance through proactive risk identification and audit oversight in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of IT security and infrastructure, with experience working in agile product management environments. A background in fintech or NBFC industry with expertise in RBI and IRDAI guidelines on IT frameworks & sensitive data protection is highly desirable.

• Audit Strategy and Oversight: Develop and implement risk-based annual IT audit plans for various entities, ensuring they are responsive to and aligned with the risk profile of the organization.\
• Process Development: Create and update audit tools considering IIA guidelines & audit manual, as well as operational, legal, and environmental changes across entities.\
• Leadership and Collaboration: Foster good relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders across entities, while maintaining open communication channels.\
• Operational Excellence: Continuously inspect and assess information systems, implement audit test plans, and identify areas for improvement.\
• Reporting and Communication: Issue timely and clear reports, ensuring they provide value to management by identifying root causes and offering practical solutions.\
• Continuous Improvement: Benchmark systems against market standards, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, and strengthening the organization through innovative use of technology.\
• Security and Compliance: Review security measures taken by line functions, new business initiatives, and coordinate with external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance.\
• Fraud Detection and Prevention: Identify early warning signals in IT areas, flag potential fraud scenarios for in-depth review and investigation.\
• Stakeholder Management: Ensure timely delivery of MIS, reports, and data to assist the function head, while making presentations to the audit committee and management independently.\
• Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments, maintain professional certifications, and participate in relevant training and development programs.\\

• Qualifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, PPM, PMP, DISA, or equivalent IT audits-related qualification.\
• Experience: 7+ years in IT audits (with at least 2-3 years in team management). Fintech/NBFC industry experience with expertise in RBI/IRDAI guidelines on IT frameworks and sensitive data protection is highly desirable.\
• Skills: Strong knowledge of IT security and infrastructure, experience working in agile product management environments, and excellent communication skills.\
• Certifications: Relevant certifications demonstrating commitment to professional development and industry best practices.\
