NoSQL Database Expert

We are seeking a skilled NoSQL Database Administrator to join our team.

Job Description

As a NoSQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining multiple NoSQL databases across various platforms and technologies. Your primary focus will be on administering and monitoring Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cosmos, and Couchbase environments.

  • Design and implement optimized NoSQL databases in collaboration with development teams.
  • Implement relational databases, tables, and table changes as needed.
  • Support application development for problem-solving and performance tuning.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration, data management, or engineering roles.
  • Progressive experience in high-volume/high-transaction data administration, with at least 3 years working with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Experience managing NoSQL databases such as Couchbase, MongoDB, and CosmosDB.
  • Experience in performance tuning and database monitoring utilizing techniques with query analysis, indexes, statistics, and execution plans.
Desired Technical Skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cosmos, and Couchbase).
  • Accurately recommending configuration changes for optimal performance of NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cosmos and Couchbase).
  • Experience in the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's NoSQL databases across multiple platforms, technologies, and computing environments.
