As a Cloud Engineering Team Lead - AWS Solutions, you'll be part of our innovative Provider Technology organization, supporting Cigna's operations.

Job Summary:

This role involves designing and implementing software solutions for provider experience on various initiatives, leveraging AWS Cloud Services and Databricks.

You'll work closely with developers, managers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals, ensuring seamless execution in AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based software solutions using Terraform, Python/PySpark, and other relevant technologies.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Develop reusable infrastructure code for commonly occurring work across multiple processes and services, utilizing Terraform.
  • Collaboration: Participate in planning and technical design discussions, contribute to production support, and manage application demos to business users and Product Owners.
  • Agile Methodology: Work with Scrum masters, developers, QA Analysts, and Product Owners to understand business requirements, participate in daily stand-up meetings, and ensure alignment with Agile principles.
  • Database Management: Write Structured Query Language (SQL) stored procedures and SQL queries for create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) operations for database management.
  • Documentation: Write and maintain technical and design documents, adhering to best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience and technical knowledge.
  • 5-8 years of total related experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services, Databricks, Terraform, Python/PySpark, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Experience in Microservice Architecture, SOLID principles, Architectural Patterns, and Development Best Practices.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience building Event-Driven Architecture a plus.
  • Security Engineering or knowledge of AWS IAM Principles a plus.
  • Kafka knowledge a plus.
  • NoSQL Solutions a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in React or NodeJS client-side languages and frameworks a plus.
  • Experienced in software development in Java and open-source tech stack a plus.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
