About the Role

As a Cloud Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of cloud engineers to collaborate with both Information Technology and Business Units to ensure open lines of communication and clear understanding of objectives within each project. You will oversee the development and monitoring of dashboards and alerts to detect problems related to application, infrastructure, and potential security incidents on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture and Engineering: Design, develop, and implement enterprise cloud architecture solutions, including cloud-based applications, platforms, and services.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of cloud engineers to achieve project goals, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • 4-6 years of personnel management and leadership experience, with 6+ years of technical management/administration of operational technology systems.
  • Hands-on technical expertise with implementation and administration of platforms, including Microsoft Azure and AWS technologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to proactively identify and address operational technology needs, with knowledge of identity management and information security best practices.
  • Experience with database technologies, enterprise applications, and monitoring solutions, such as New Relic, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
