Funding Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Funding Manager to lead and manage all funding-related activities for our organization.

  • Develop and implement funding strategies to meet business requirements, such as forecasting financial needs and identifying potential funding sources.
  • Identify, approach, and negotiate with lenders, investors, and stakeholders to secure debt and equity funding.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Evaluate funding proposals and assess their financial viability, taking into account factors such as risk and return on investment.
  • Prepare and present funding reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress updates to management.
  • Monitor fund utilization and ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements, including adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with the finance team to forecast and plan funding needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, funding management, or corporate finance.
  • A strong network with lenders, investors, and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, funding processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A proven ability to secure and manage large funding deals.
  • An MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
