Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that organizational and business processes are compliant with government regulations. This entails conducting risk assessments, advising management, and implementing compliance standards.

This position involves preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports, interacting with regulators on compliance issues, and coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the factory floor for compliance issues, motivating employees to maintain personal safety, and training employees on safety awareness and maintaining relevant records.

The role also includes ensuring factories comply with social ethics, health, and safety requirements and identifying non-compliance issues through daily monitoring and internal audits.

Furthermore, the individual will conduct internal audits in light of labor law, factory rules, buyer COCs, and national/international legal instruments, monitor compliance certifications, and handle different audits according to buyers' requirements.

The position requires strong organizational and documentation abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or factory environments.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, factory regulations, and international compliance certifications (BSCI, SEDEX, SA 8000, etc.).
  • Experience in conducting audits, gap analysis, and compliance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to lead training programs and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
