Network Infrastructure Expert

As a seasoned Network Infrastructure Expert, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data centre's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% uptime of CCIL IFSC DC; WAN and LAN network.
  • Manage entire Network and Security infrastructure of CCIL IFSC Data Centre as well as LAN.
  • Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) drills.
  • Define network and security policies, procedures and RARTPs.
  • Handle internal and external audits for processes related to the Network and Security infrastructure.
  • Closure of Vulnerability Assessment/ Penetration Testing (VA/PT) related observations on Network and Security devices.
  • Capacity management of network and Security devices.
  • Review change management for any new requirement or changes in existing network and Security infrastructure.
  • Vendor management.
  • Design and upgrade the Network and Security infrastructure of CCIL IFSC. This includes understanding current capacity of devices installed in CCIL IFSC, discussing with application teams for any future requirements. Based on the inputs received, initiate discussions with System Integrators/OEMs related to sizing of devices, finalizing the devices/services, which need to be procured, and provide technical inputs required to higher management.
  • Handle the entire procurement process towards purchasing devices for projects related to network. These involve solution finalization, preparation of Request For Proposal (RFP), coordination/negotiation with vendors and OEMs, and purchase order to vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Network Administration.
  • Bachelor's/B Tech qualification.
  • Strong understanding of network and Security infrastructure, prior experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network and security devices.
  • CCNA/CCNP-Routing & Switching; CCNA-Security certifications.
