Job Title: Advisory Systems Engineer

Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to customers and partners in the deployment and implementation of Open Networking Data Centre and Campus networking solutions.

The role requires advanced technical knowledge and skills to provide expert advice on architectural questions, product prerequisites, and product features. This includes translating complex business requirements into Leaf-Spine Network solutions and assisting Pre-Sales Engineers and Account Executives with designing Network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced Pre-Sales & Post-sales engineering support as a trusted advisor for customers.
  • Offer customer advice on architectural questions, product prerequisites, and product features.
  • Translate complex business requirements into Leaf-Spine Network solutions.
  • Assist Pre-Sales Engineers and Account Executives with designing Network solutions.
  • Review customer network designs for EVPN, VxLAN, leaf-spine architecture and make recommendations for deployment.
  • Assist with implementation and change controls.
  • Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and in-depth testing to validate design scenarios.
  • Provide bug scrubs and code recommendations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  • Advanced vendor certifications (ACE, CCIE, JNCIE) preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience designing and deploying large-scale data center and enterprise campus networks.
  • Deep expertise in EVPN/VXLAN, leaf spine, OSPF, BGP, multicast, and segmentation strategies.
  • Proven track record in network automation (Python, Ansible, APIs) and feature evaluation for high-performance environments.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to lead complex design discussions and deliver compelling technical presentations.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
