Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Airfield Engineer to lead our team in delivering civil engineering design and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering airfield civil engineering design and maintenance projects through various stages of design from feasibility studies to construction.

The Principal Engineer will be required to act as the design lead for airfield civil engineering projects, taking ownership of project delivery while leading and directing junior team members. They will also be responsible for preparing technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications related to project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing engineering professionals in the delivery of technical aviation projects, with strong verbal and written communication skills. They should also be competent self-leaders with attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 10 years of civil infrastructure design experience at airports
  • Experience working on large, technically complex multi-disciplinary airport projects
  • Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT) or equivalent demonstrable experience
