Job Title: Hardware and Software Engineering Leader

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Hardware and Software Engineering leader to oversee various engineering projects and activities within the organization. The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to hardware and software product development, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Product Management and Architecture teams to ensure end-to-end product architecture and requirements.
  • Ensure alignment across software, mechanical, and electrical teams.
  • Drive integration readiness for each product milestone.
  • Lead the design and implementation of hardware & software engineering functions.
  • Develop and implement engineering processes, governance standards, tools, and templates.
  • Promote effective use of development, testing, tracking, and communication tools.
  • Support prioritization and assignment of engineering work across teams.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.
  • Lead technical documentation, design reviews, and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Manage product milestones, activities, tasks, and changes through formal systems.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and 12+ years of experience in hardware and software product development. You should also have hands-on experience with PCB design and development, a background in both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines, and strong process improvement and governance expertise.

Additionally, you should be a self-starter, collaborative team player, excited by fast-paced and innovative environments, passionate about delivering high-quality hardware and software products, and eager to contribute to dynamic and evolving engineering organizations.
