Embedded Software Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Software Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing embedded firmware for wearable and IoT devices.

The role involves working on low-power wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.) and wireless charging/power systems. You will collaborate with hardware engineers on wearable and IoT device design, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration.

You will be responsible for implementing power management strategies for energy-efficient devices, debugging and troubleshooting firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers. Additionally, you will develop and maintain documentation, test cases, and validation processes.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to take concepts from prototype to production. Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming is required, along with hands-on experience in firmware development for embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for wearable and IoT devices.
  • Work on low-power wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.) and wireless charging/power systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers on wearable and IoT device design, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration.
  • Implement power management strategies for energy-efficient devices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, test cases, and validation processes.
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming.
  • Hands-on experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of wireless power technologies (Qi, NFC, RF-based charging).
  • Experience with wearable device platforms (health trackers, smartwatches, fitness devices).
  • Proficiency with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.) and microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ESP32, etc.).
