Web Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Wordpress developer to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining advanced Wordpress plugins, themes, and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain custom Wordpress themes, plugins, and internal tools
  • Build advanced Gutenberg blocks using hooks, APIs, and custom theme logic
  • Optimize database queries and code execution for improved performance
  • Integrate with REST APIs and support complex microservices
  • Work in Docker/Podman environments (WP-CLI, container operations, Linux commands)
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to connect blocks/themes while owning the backend architecture
Requirements
  • Deep expertise in PHP and the Wordpress ecosystem (hooks, APIs, plugins, themes, Gutenberg)
  • Strong SQL skills and proven experience optimizing queries for performance
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns
  • React experience, especially for Gutenberg block development
  • Comfortable with Docker/Podman workflows and Linux environments (WP-CLI, file manipulation, container ops)
  • A performance-minded developer: profiling, measuring, and optimizing code execution
  • MacOS or Linux development environment (mandatory)
  • Good command of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6)
  • Experience working closely with designers and front-end developers
  • Awareness of accessibility and Core Web Vitals best practices
