We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the management and support of MS SQL Databases. This key role involves technical expertise, analysis, and problem-solving skills to ensure high database availability.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze database logs and event files to prevent incidents.
- Implement disaster recovery databases, transaction replication, and link servers for efficient data transfer.
- Develop routine maintenance jobs, rebuilding indexes, and defragmenting databases to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve critical issues and minimize downtime.
- Analyze trends and identify areas for improvement to increase database availability.
- Strong experience in database administration and leadership.
- Proficiency in handling major incidents and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Hands-on experience with database installation, troubleshooting, and patching.
- Expertise in Always ON cluster configuration and management, failover cluster management, and replication configuration.
- Ability to plan and execute new projects related to database administration.
