Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Thematic Lead for Non-Farm Livelihoods, you will contribute to the organization's mission by providing strategic direction and technical support to implementation teams.

The position will focus on diversifying rural incomes through agriculture allied and non-farm sectors, with an emphasis on women entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning Support: Develop strategic plans and short-term and long-term goals for promoting agriculture allied and non-farm livelihoods
  • Capacity Building: Design capacity building approaches and lead development of training modules
  • Partnerships: Identify potential partnerships within RIL ecosystem and external stakeholders to further work of RF
  • Technical Support: Provide facilitation to implementation teams at state and district levels

Qualifications and Requirements:

Required qualifications include postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Economics, Development Sciences, Management or relevant study stream. Desirable certifications from reputed institutions are also desired.

The ideal candidate should have at least 15 years of relevant sectoral experience in promoting agriculture allied and non-farm livelihoods.
