Job Overview

The Equity Research Analyst plays a crucial role in informing investment decisions, analyzing market trends, and developing financial models to predict future growth opportunities.

This position involves building and updating complex financial models using scenario analysis, carrying out detailed valuation methods, and providing accurate investment ideas to support portfolio managers' decision-making processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast revenue and expenses, identifying key drivers and assumptions that impact investment decisions.
  • Valuation Analysis: Conduct thorough valuations of potential investments using DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant methods to determine fair value.
  • Research and Analysis: Screen large datasets to identify new investment ideas, analyze market trends, and provide insightful research findings to inform investment decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with portfolio managers, prepare earnings reviews, and create pitch notes/presentations to effectively communicate research findings.

  • Financial Modeling Expertise: Excellent skills in financial modeling, including proficiency in building complex models, scenario analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to think critically through drivers and KPIs across various sectors to make informed investment decisions.
