Job Overview

The Learning Experience Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining high-quality courses on the Canvas Learning Management System. This role involves creating engaging learning content, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring accessibility and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain courses in Canvas LMS, aligning with instructional design specifications.
  • Develop and format content pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents according to design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Manage course assets, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Edit content on the Content Management System (CMS).
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure learning materials meet quality and accessibility standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Deliver projects on time, meeting high-quality benchmarks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology.
  • 1-4 years of working knowledge on HTML.
  • Experience working on the Canvas LMS and/or CMS is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of CSS, JS, and accessibility standards for course design.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and H5P.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
