Quantitative Model Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Model Developer to join our team. As a key member of our analytics group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex statistical models to drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, or financial mathematics, with experience in statistical software such as SAS, SQL, and R. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain predictive regression models and other forecasting methodologies.

Your key responsibilities will include data analysis, trend identification, and recommendation implementation. You will also assist in quarterly and annually capital planning production processes and interact with front office desks to ensure alignment of data-driven insights against business intuition.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Financial Mathematics
  • Strong Accounting/Finance understanding
  • Statistical software experience (SAS, SQL, R) in addition to Excel skills
  • Strong data analysis skills, trend analysis, data cleaning, data mining
  • Strong modelling background, ability to carry out small scale model development/enhancement project
