Job Title: Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced cloud reliability engineer to help define, drive, and implement a comprehensive reliability strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure and operations, with experience in promoting high availability and scalability across distributed systems.

  • Help develop, drive, and implement the cloud reliability strategy.
  • Promote high availability and scalability across distributed systems through reduction of downtime and delay.
  • Develop methodologies and strategies for identifying toil-heavy processes and automating them.
  • Assist in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery.
  • Work with all parties to develop and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical services.
  • Define monitoring strategy with Engineering and implement appropriate capabilities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with public/private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure etc.) with 5+ years working experience in SRE role.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating to Error Budgets.
  • Experience in implementing and operating monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of all critical production support processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with one/more public/private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure etc.).
