Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and be able to analyze potential threats, conduct vulnerability assessments, and develop security policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats using advanced security tools.
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and work with IT teams to remediate identified risks.
  • Investigate complex security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a security operations or analyst role.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
  • Experience with advanced security tools including SIEM, antivirus, firewall, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills and Certifications:
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or CISSP Associate.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Understanding of incident response, threat intelligence, and malware analysis.
  • Knowledge of cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices.
