Job Title: Business Operations Supervisor

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing the entire Customs House Agent operations at Nhava Sheva.

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end CHA operations at Nhava Sheva, ensuring timely clearance of import/export consignments.
  • Maintain adherence to Customs & Allied Acts and SOPs, promoting compliance across the organization.
  • Streamline operational processes by implementing cost-effective measures and optimizing workflow.
  • Coordinate with customs authorities, shipping lines, transporters, and CFS agencies to ensure seamless cargo movement.
  • Represent the organization's interests in trade facilitation meetings and forums.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead performance evaluations to drive business growth.
  • Promote Health, Safety, and Environmental standards within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
