Job Description:

  • We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation and functional testing, including practical experience in automation.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and improving test cases and test plans according to the specified requirements.
  • They will also be responsible for reporting test results and defects, analysing and troubleshooting issues in the software, and developing and maintaining automated tests.
  • Furthermore, the candidate will analyse test results and configure testing environments, design and enhance automation frameworks, and participate in team meetings and adhere to established project workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in release and QA activities planning
  • Define the scope of work and prioritize tasks independently
  • Design, develop, maintain and improve test cases and test plans according to the specified requirements
  • Report test results and defects
  • Analyse and troubleshoot issues in the software
  • Develop and maintain automated tests
  • Analyse test results and configure testing environments
  • Design and enhance automation frameworks
  • Participate in team meetings and adhere to established project workflows

Requirements:

  • Capability to perform both automated and manual testing
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes
  • Perfect understanding of QA processes and methodologies - test planning, test case management tools, bug tracking systems and software development life cycle
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners and developers, as well as work independently
  • Self-motivated and quick to learn new technologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and role of QA within it
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as TeamCity, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, and experience coding in JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of Page Object Model
  • Experience with REST API testing
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps
