Business Growth Specialist

Purpose:

The Business Growth Specialist will drive business expansion in targeted industry sectors and geographic regions through strategic business development initiatives, including cross-selling and relationship management to achieve sales objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for designated verticals/territories, identifying potential clients, highlighting customer needs, and forecasting market trends.
  • Maintain oversight of sales targets at the territory/vertical level on a weekly basis, addressing deviations and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to sales budgets at the territory level.
  • Identify business opportunities from multiple channels and develop a pursuit plan.
  • Negotiate and finalize terms with clients regarding product specifications, payment terms, and timelines, obtaining approval from the reporting manager.

Beyond Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with customers to gain a deep understanding of their requirements and provide swift resolution to any customer inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for integrated solutions involving motors, automation products, and systems, and report these to relevant managers.
  • Ensure customer specifications are documented and forwarded to concerned departments.
  • Liaise with operations teams to ensure order execution aligns with predefined timelines and criteria.
  • Communicate changes in order specifications to concerned departments and ensure timely dispatch of goods to client sites according to delivery schedules.
  • Ensure collections from clients as per contractual agreements.
  • Provide technical support to customers on after-sales related issues.
  • Lead the establishment of service centers or identify partner agencies to provide quick after-sales services to customers.
  • Stay informed about developments in the territory and provide data to marketing teams on potential opportunities for expansion and diversification into new markets and geographies.
