App Store Optimization Specialist

• Job Description:

As an App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing the visibility and conversion rate of our mobile apps in the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). This role requires a blend of marketing, analytics, and creative skills to drive organic app growth through continuous optimization and testing.

This includes conducting keyword research using ASO tools to identify high-potential search terms, optimizing app metadata such as titles, subtitles, keywords, descriptions, and promotional text to improve rankings, and developing and implementing A/B testing strategies for creative assets like icons, screenshots, and videos.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing app store performance and competitors' positioning to inform ASO strategy, working with localization vendors or internal stakeholders to adapt app store content to various languages and regions, and ensuring that localized assets are culturally relevant and optimized for local search behavior.

Cross-functional collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure ASO strategies align with app updates and feature releases. You will also coordinate with paid user acquisition and CRM teams to align ASO with broader marketing efforts.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in ASO, mobile growth marketing, or digital performance marketing
• Strong understanding of app store ecosystems (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) and ranking algorithms
• Proficiency in ASO tools like AppTweak
• Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and creative optimization tools
• Analytical mindset with experience in tools like Google Play Console, App Store Connect, Firebase, or Mixpanel
• Experience working with localization projects across multiple markets
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Background in mobile gaming, lifestyle, fintech, or utilities categories
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to ASO
