About the Role:
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement, including identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure best possible prices and terms.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Supply Chain / Engineering / Management.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement/purchase in a manufacturing/industrial setup.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
