Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design & prototype wheelchair frames, drive modules, and ergonomic components by utilizing your skills in product development.
  2. Assist in gathering insights on market needs and consumer trends to inform product development decisions.
  3. Engineer lightweight, robust load-bearing structures (FEA validation) that meet industry standards.
  4. Integrate motors, batteries, and control systems with structural design principles.
  5. Collaborate with vendors for precision fabrication and quality delivery of products.
  6. Conduct testing for durability, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Optimize materials and processes for cost, weight, and performance requirements.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, changes, and manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
  • 2–4 years' experience in product development (mobility, automotive, or structural products) is necessary.
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques is also required.
