Job Title: Patent Search and Licensing Expert

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our patent search and licensing services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing IP projects.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth, ensure high-quality service delivery, and maintain excellent client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic roadmap for our Search & Licensing business unit, aligning our offerings with market needs, and supervising end-to-end execution of all IP search and analytics services.

The Head - Patent Search and Licensing will lead a team of analysts, senior searchers, and licensing professionals, driving a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and accountability. Key responsibilities include planning and forecasting manpower needs, mentoring and grooming high-potential team members, and evaluating and adopting cutting-edge patent databases and AI/analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Search & Licensing business unit.
  • Align the vertical's offerings with market needs and evolving IP trends.
  • Supervise end-to-end execution of all IP Search and Analytics services.
  • Lead the design and execution of IP Monetization strategies.
  • Serve as strategic advisor to clients, offering insight-driven IP solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in engineering/technology on any discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property (preferred).
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in IP services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing patent search, analytics, and/or licensing projects.
