Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to lead and participate with a small team through the design and implementation of test automation software for world-class pressure and temperature measurement devices. Our products deliver highly accurate pressure and temperature measurements with unmatched reliability to help customers in a variety of industries.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Closely collaborate with firmware developers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from requirements definition through post-release activities, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Present status updates and metrics to management, providing insights into project progress and areas for improvement.
  • Execute software test development activities, including development of software test requirements, overseeing and executing the test development process, performing peer reviews, and creating and executing validation tests.
  • Carry out continuous improvement to the software test processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

You are a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can set and achieve goals. You are interested in learning, problem solving, and collaboration. You work with other functional groups that includes Firmware Design and User Interface Software.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • An engineering degree from an ABET-accredited school.
  • Experience working in geographically distributed teams.
  • Azure DevOps or similar tool experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with serial communication protocols like SPI, I2C, USB, etc.
  • Cybersecurity and SIS product development experience (IEC61508, IEC62443).
  • Experience with object-oriented programming.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
