Financial Audit Senior

As a seasoned Financial Audit Senior, you will perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across various industries in the United States.

  • You will prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and US GAAS standards.
  • You will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day duties, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up, to deliver high-quality audit results.
  • With a deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in the United States, you will be able to conduct independent research on complex accounting topics.
  • You will develop realistic time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet tight deadlines and client expectations.
  • As a mentor, trainer, and supervisor of junior staff members, you will contribute to their growth and development within the team.
  • Through effective communication with supervisors, managers, and directors, you will ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • A certified public accountant (CPA) or chartered accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to global offices.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Industry exposure: NFP and/or General Commercial Audit.
  • Teamwork and leadership skills to foster a collaborative environment and drive project success.
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
  • A proactive approach to projects, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Caseware, caseview, or IDEA is a plus.
