Job Title:

Rigging Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rigging Operations Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a critical leadership position that requires a strong background in rigging operations, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing rigging operations to ensure safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rigging plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of rigging personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and tools.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Maintain accurate records of rigging operations, including logs, reports, and certifications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of rigging operations into overall project plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8-15 years of experience in oil and gas industry with a focus on rigging operations.
  • Proven track record of safely and efficiently leading rigging teams.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, including QatarEnergy Lifting Equipment Standards and Procedures.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
