Engineering Leadership Role

The Chief Engineer plays a crucial role in driving business growth and excellence by developing and implementing strategic plans for the engineering department. This ensures alignment with the hotel's overall mission, vision, and values.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and have experience in managing teams, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements strategies for the hotel engineering department to achieve business goals
  • Manages the Engineering department and third-party vendors to ensure superior service and quality
  • Reviews contracts and negotiates revisions to contractual agreements
  • Monitors compliance with building safety codes, health and safety laws, and other regulations
  • Coordinates hotel renovations and maintains responsible business programs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in engineering leadership and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
