Senior Engineering Lead

We are seeking a visionary and seasoned Senior Engineering Lead with a proven track record of driving innovation. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of engineering experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  1. Lead the delivery of product and project commitments for their team by developing and implementing effective strategies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product roadmap discussions and provide input on design, modeling, and architectural decisions.
  3. Drive project estimations and operations for implementing high-quality solution delivery and technology upgrades in the product.
  4. Develop and lead teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
  5. Define NFRs and build systems that meet the NFR requirements.
  6. Cultivate strong relationships with other team leaders and departments.
  7. Mentor team members and prepare them for possible future roles.
Requirements:

Experience & Portfolio:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
  • Around 7-15 years of total experience working on delivery/development/team management.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with EVM, Android-related technology.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with mobile technologies like Android.
  • Good understanding of commonly used databases like SQL, NoSQL.
Key Skills & Efficiency:

Personnel and project management skills.

Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.

Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.

Ability to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders.

Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.

Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools is a plus.

Experience in fintech space is an advantage.

Communication & Ownership:
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot recruitment strategies as needed.
