Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, including Azure, and be able to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud-based systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks, is required. Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and other IAC tools is also essential.

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure smooth operation.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to present technical information effectively. Passion for continuous learning and improvement in cloud computing is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on Azure
  • Managing cloud services and resources
  • Maintaining high availability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability
  • Monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud environments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with IAC tools and automation scripts
  • Strong networking protocols knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in cloud computing or related field
  • Experience with containerization using Docker or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud computing
