Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Corporate Chief Engineer to lead our engineering teams and drive excellence in operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality engineering, with expertise in building systems and CMMS tools. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective engineering policies, ensuring seamless operations, and maintaining a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversight of preventive and corrective maintenance programs to guarantee optimal functioning of MEP systems.
  • Critical coordination with resort teams to swiftly resolve issues and minimize downtime.
Sustainability & Energy Management
  • Pioneering energy conservation initiatives aligned with global hospitality standards.
  • Implementation of sustainable practices to reduce environmental footprint.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance across all properties through proactive audits and risk mitigation.
  • Maintaining a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
Team Development & Leadership
  • Recruitment, training, and mentorship of engineering teams to foster growth and development.
  • Strategic team building and leadership to drive excellence in engineering services.
Budgeting & Financial Management
  • Effective management of annual engineering budgets to optimize resource allocation.
  • Expenditure approval for maintenance and capital projects, ensuring timely and budget-aligned delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Advanced certifications in facility or energy management preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in hospitality engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, expertise in building systems and CMMS tools, and excellent communication and decision-making skills.
