About the Role

  • This is a full-time position requiring experience in credit risk management.
  • We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of experience in areas such as IFRS 9 model development, ECL computation and provision enhancement.
  • Experience with wholesale loans, auto loans, personal loans, mortgage finance and education loans would be beneficial.
  • Candidates should have a graduate or postgraduate degree.
  • A CA, FRM or Actuarial certification would be an advantage.
  • Candidates with previous experience in India, Europe, APAC or US would be preferred.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, VBA, Python, R and SAS would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting engagements with leading financial institutions, covering areas like IFRS 9 model development, ECL computation and provision enhancement.
  • Demonstrate knowledge to clients on loan products, including wholesale loans, auto loans, personal loans, mortgage finance and education loans.
  • Model default and recovery rates using techniques like roll rate analysis, periodic default rates and statistical methods.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of client projects.
  • Develop and upskill teams for engagements.
  • Design project plans for assigned engagements.
  • Report to business unit leaders on engagement progress.
