Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Quality Engineer who can lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to guarantee product reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement automated test scripts for functional and regression testing to ensure seamless user experience.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
  3. Develop and maintain existing automation frameworks to ensure continuous improvement.
  4. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  5. Report and track defects using bug tracking tools to streamline the resolution process.
  6. Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
  7. Mentor junior team members in automation best practices to foster growth and expertise.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  3. Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
  4. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  5. Experience in performance testing is a plus.

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
  2. Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C#.
  3. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.
  4. Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI.
  5. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
