Job Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting commercial line products, including Fire, Engineering, Miscellaneous, and Liability insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite commercial line products, ensuring compliance with all relevant approvals and guidelines.
  • Prepare quotations and referrals as per authority levels.
  • Manage portfolios and conduct market benchmarking to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training sessions on commercial products and underwriting processes to internal business teams and external members.
  • Maintain regular communication with distribution teams and intermediaries to grow the business.
  • Contribute to achieving top-line and loss ratio targets through regular reviews with stakeholders.
  • Manage business data, prepare MIS reports, and provide data for analysis as required.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in a relevant field.
