Proposal Specialist Opportunity

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement effective account penetration strategies and customized sales plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute federal proposal writing strategies for various clients.
  • Employ expertise in RFP/RFQ/RFI management, bid management, and capture management to drive business growth.
  • Utilize strong analytical and communication skills to anchor responses to proactive and reactive bids.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance services and processes.
  • Collaborate with practice teams to create customer-specific sales materials, including capability presentations, case studies, solution documents, and white papers.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales and proposal writing, preferably in an IT services or staffing company.
  2. In-depth understanding of US Federal government contracting and SLED markets.
  3. Excellent knowledge of RFP/RFQ/RFI management and a comprehensive understanding of the sales lifecycle.
  4. Strong presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare proposals, case studies, and marketing materials.
  5. Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders to design compelling solutions and proposals.
  6. Hands-on experience in proposal writing is essential.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in using various portals such as SAM.GOV, GovTribe, GovWIN, FedConnect, and GSA.
  • End-to-end handling of capture management, lead generation, and bid management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract vehicles, GWACs, IDIQs, and federal procurement procedures.
