Key Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead proposal development for IT-focused projects, including software development, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity implementations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with federal requirements and alignment with client objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop winning proposals for IT projects, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements, develop win themes, and write compelling proposal sections.
  • Manage proposal schedules and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Write, edit, and review proposal content for IT solutions, ensuring clarity, persuasiveness, and adherence to FAR and IT-specific standards.
  • Coordinate proposal reviews and maintain compliance matrices and content libraries.
  • Stay current with federal acquisition regulations, IT industry trends, and agency-specific requirements to enhance proposal strategies.
Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in proposal management/writing in U.S. federal bidding for IT projects for agencies like DoD, DOE, or HHS.
  • Expertise in federal procurement processes and IT compliance standards.
Proficiency with Tools

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the following tools:

  • Microsoft Office Suite for proposal drafting and technical diagrams.
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro for document editing and compliance.
  • SharePoint or Google Workspace for IT team collaboration.
  • Proposal software for managing IT proposal workflows.
  • Project management tools for tracking IT project bids.
  • IT-specific tools for architecture diagrams and software proposal versioning.
