Job Title: Pricing Market Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced journalist to join our global editorial team as a senior price reporter, covering the global ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, with a particular focus on India.

You will report to the Ferroalloys Associate Director and work alongside our industry-leading journalists and price reporters.

  • Report ferroalloys and bulk ore prices on a weekly basis, with a particular focus on India.
  • Help launch new ferroalloys and bulk ores price assessments, define price specifications, gather market feedback.
  • Generate news content on the ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, working closely with reporters in Africa and Europe.
  • Maintain strong client relationships - ideally bringing these relationships from prior roles. Continually share and source market intelligence.
  • Engage actively in business development, assisting account managers in the sales process through maintaining sales pipelines and assisting in the sales process.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in the steel or steel raw materials industries and/or markets, with excellent inter-personal skills and ability to present and lead public discussions.

Responsibilities include identifying market trends, analyzing data, and developing insightful reports to help clients make informed decisions.
