Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect Specialist to lead the design, development, and implementation of our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture and administration, with a proven ability to optimize performance and ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement database systems that support business applications.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with software developers to create and optimize database queries and stored procedures.
  • Ensure data security and integrity through appropriate measures and practices.
  • Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in database design, development, and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries.
  • Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database architecture principles.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Understanding of data security principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
