Job Title: Coastal Modeler

We are seeking an experienced Coastal Modeler to support our coastal projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hydrodynamic modeling and experience with Delft 3D and TELEMAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute hydrodynamic models
  • Analyze and interpret model results, providing insights and recommendations for coastal management and development
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including coastal and structural engineers, to address complex coastal issues
  • Stay current with advancements in coastal modelling techniques and technologies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in coastal modelling
  • Proficient in hydrodynamic modelling using Delft 3D and TELEMAC 2D and 3D
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Degree in Coastal Engineering or Oceanography

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with additional modelling software and tools related to coastal processes such as Mike 21, ARTEMIS or TOMOWAC
  • Knowledge of sediment and thermal plume modelling and oil spill modelling
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and environmental impact assessments
