Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager- Warehouse- Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize picking and loading processes in the warehouse, ensuring efficiency in daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts, ensuring consistency across all warehouses.
  • Ensure daily bin accuracy by conducting regular checks and publishing results in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and improve stock-taking processes to ensure proper cutoffs and reconciliations.
  • Investigate root causes of inaccuracies and implement control measures with the team.
  • Conduct weekly toolbox meetings to refresh workflow and address top hazards.
  • Quarterly review safety protocols with transporters and contractors to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee warehousing activities for multiple business units in India.
  • Prioritize and plan pre-batches and job work challans efficiently.
  • Optimize storage space utilization for RMs, packing items, and intermediates.
  • Implement effective inventory management methods, such as FIFO and JIT.
  • Manage scrap disposal effectively.
  • Ensure 5S standards are maintained on-site.
