IT Asset Coordinator Role

The IT asset coordinator is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement. This involves tracking and maintaining records of hardware and software inventory, coordinating IMAC activities efficiently, ensuring asset-related data is up-to-date and accurately documented in IT service management tools, and preparing and maintaining regular asset reports using Microsoft Excel.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and prior experience handling IT assets, IMAC processes, and reporting. Strong coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with internal IT and support teams are also essential.

  • Manage the IT asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Coordinate IMAC activities (install, move, add, change) efficiently.
  • Ensure asset-related data is up-to-date and accurately documented in ITSM tools.
  • Prepare and maintain regular asset reports using MS Excel.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following skills and qualifications are required:

  • At least 1.6 years of relevant experience in IT asset coordination or management.
  • Good understanding of the IT asset lifecycle process.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel (data tracking, reporting).
  • Familiarity with IMAC, SLA, and ITSM processes/tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and process-driven mindset.
